ESOL

The English as a Second Language program is designed for non-native speakers of English ages 18 plus and who are not enrolled in school.  The instructional focus is on providing students the opportunity to speak, write, listen, and read English.  Students will work at their own level and have multiple opportunities to practice their language skills. E.S.L. classes are free. 

Classes meets on Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30am-12pm at Marion Gerrish Community Center, Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School. Conversation Class meets weekly via Zoom (email derryadulted@sau10.org for information) Pre-registration is required. (Click here.)


If class days/times do not work for your schedule, we offer one-on-one tutoring and/or distance learning opportunities to provide services to you on your schedule.
